Q: Do I pay to park?
A: No. Free parking will be provided at Fiesta Lakes but if the parking lot is full, people may park for free at the Hilton.

Q: Do I need to pay $20 for the O'Yeah Challenge to attend?
A: No. Fiesta Lakes grounds will be free to enter and roam around.  Everyone is welcome to look at the blueprints of the future concepts while enjoying the music.  Food, drinks, and beer will be offered or people may simply watch the challenges and perhaps partake in some free pick games.  In fact, people are welcome to try the challenges at no charge.  Free tips for golf, volleyball, and tennis will be provided from professional athletes.  There is also a viewing of hole 2, which is a $5000 hole-in-one for players register for the golf scramble.

Q: Why should I pay $20, when people can play for free?
A: O'Yeah Challengers receive a t-shirt and opportunity for cash and prizes but most importantly the player's $20 will go to a good cause.  100% of the proceeds go to local charities.


Q: Is the O'Yeah Challenge a tournament or do I need to bring my own team?
A: No. The O'Yeah Challenges are 8 different individual sport challenges: putting a golf ball, serving a volleyball, throwing a dodgeball, serving a tennis ball, rolling a bocce ball, tossing a cornhole bag, pitching a horseshoe, and throwing a disc golf.  The 9th challenge is a bonus challenge where the player picks their strongest challenge for more points.


Q: The O'Yeah Challenge is from noon to 8:ooP, will I be there the whole day?
A: Each challenge is 2-5 minutes long, so players will complete the challenges in less than an hour (minus any delays due to a big crowd at one challenge) but there is so much more to do.

Q: What else is there to do other than the 9 challenges?
A: We encourage players to participate in the golf scramble or watch the view at hole 2, which is a $5000 hole-in-one for players registered for the golf scramble.  There will be music, food, drinks, and beer to enjoy while following the leaderboard online.  Players are welcome to start pick-up games at the different challenges when there are no challengers waiting to compete.

Q: Is there an award ceremony?
A: Yes. From 8:30P to 8:45P cash and prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

Q: Are women competing against men for cash and prizes?
A: No. There are two leaderboards and both genders win prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Q: Are junior (boys and girls under 18) competing against adults for cash and prizes?
A: Yes. The O'Yeah Challenges are accuracy-based, so juniors will compete against adults of their gender.


Q: Will there be officials?
A: Yes. There will be a scorekeeper. However, this is a charity event so challengers need to understand that the scorekeepers are volunteers and accept the scorekeeper's judgement. There is also a director for each challenge to assure fairness.  Offering to buy beers for the scorekeepers will not be considered as bribery ;)


Q: Where can I take my beer and what beers are offered?
A: Anywhere on the Fiesta Lakes' grounds. Bud Light is sponsoring the O'Yeah Challenge, so there will be Bud, Bud Light, Bud Light Lime, and Ultra Light.  Craft beer is yet to be determined.

Q: Will there be alcohol?
A: Alcohol is yet to be determined.

Q: Will this event be kid-friendly?
A: There will be a designated kid zone with a bounce house and activities like pro tips in golf, volleyball, and tennis.  Security will be at the gate and on the premises. Belligerency will not be tolerated, reported foul language will be addressed, and music will be censored.

Q: What foods will be offered?
A: Chicken Tacos, Sonoran Hot Dogs, Sloppy Joes, "Italian Sloppy", chips and salsa.  Hot Dogs and Quesadillas for Kids.
